Outdoor Recreation at Wendell State Forest, Wednesday, February 23 and Saturday, February 26 - Join us for the last 2 winter program in Wendell, a rural town in western Massachusetts located 20 minutes east of Greenfield. Here's your chance to enjoy as many activities as conditions permit: snowmobile ride, ice skating, kicksledding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing! 11am - 3pm. Outdoor Recreation at Weston Ski Track, Sunday, February 27 - Come for the first time or continue with us at this snow-covered golf course just outside of Boston for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and kicksledding. 12-4pm. Call Outdoor Access at 413-259-0009 to register. You have another chance for Weston on Sunday, March 6, the last program date for this season!
Northeast Passage:
Sled Hockey Practice: Development Team - Sunday, February 27 in Saco, Maine. Perfect for youth, teens and first-timers, here's a chance to learn team strategies for sled hockey and try out an exciting sport. Call 603-862-0070 to register for this 9am practice! Practices continue into March at various locations including Exeter, NH and Dedham, MA.
Special Olympics:
13th Annual PASSION PLUNGE! Saturday, February 26 at Nantasket Beach and Revere Beach in Boston. This event is a fundraiser for Special Olympics in Massachusetts - visit http://passionplunge.org/ to find out how you can raise money for a great cause! Looks like a fun one to watch too!
